{"id":54432,"date":"2018-11-18T13:15:10","date_gmt":"2018-11-18T18:15:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=54432"},"modified":"2018-11-18T14:01:13","modified_gmt":"2018-11-18T19:01:13","slug":"save-the-date-for-annual-presidents-holiday-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/11\/save-the-date-for-annual-presidents-holiday-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"Save the date for annual President\u2019s Holiday Celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brock faculty and staff are invited to attend the annual President\u2019s Holiday Celebration on Monday, Dec. 10 in Market Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hors d\u2019oeuvres and refreshments will be served at 2 p.m. followed by remarks from President Gervan Fearon and the presentation of staff service awards at 2:30 p.m. RSVP is not required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recipients of the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.sharepoint.com\/human-resources\/Documents\/Distinguished%20Service%20Awards\/Presidents%20Call%20for%20Nominations.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> President\u2019s Distinguished Staff Service Award for Outstanding Contributions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.sharepoint.com\/human-resources\/Documents\/Distinguished%20Service%20Awards\/HR%20Call%20for%20Nominations.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Human Resources Distinguished Staff Service Award for Leadership<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will receive a certificate of recognition and a $500 cash reward. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both awards are available to ongoing staff members with at least 12 months of service. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.sharepoint.com\/SitePages\/Nominations-open-for-Brock-distinguished-staff-awards.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nominations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were due at the end of October.
