It also won publication of the year for David Hoffos: <em>Scenes from the House Dream<\/em>, which was curated and organized by Shirley Madill.<\/p>\n<p>The Legendary OAAG Awards were Sept. 24 in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"\/rodmanhall\" target=\"_blank\">Rodman Hall<\/a> team has worked hard in the past year to deliver a strong program of exhibitions and events, and \u201cI am proud of my staff,\u201d said Madill, Rodman Hall director.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a vision for Rodman Hall to be a significant leader and cultural force not only in this community, but also provincially and nationally,\u201d she said. \u201cTo receive two awards was a pleasant surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The OAAG awards are judged by a jury of Rodman Hall\u2019s peers \u2014 usually curators, writers, critics and directors of art galleries and museums.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo receive recognition from these people I respect means a great deal,\u201d Madill said.<\/p>\n<p>The Legendary OAAG awards are the only annual juried awards to recognize excellence and achievement in Ontario\u2019s public art gallery sector.
