If history repeats itself, Sunday\u2019s record-breaking crowd expected to attend Fall Preview Day could mean more good things to come for Brock University.<\/p>\n
After last year\u2019s event drew 4,300 people, the University saw record enrolment for its 2018-19 school year with more than 19,000 students. With this year\u2019s Fall Preview Day coming up Sunday, Nov. 4, pre-registrations are up significantly and another record group of prospective students and their parents are expected to attend.<\/p>\n
The University\u2019s largest on-campus recruiting event, Fall Preview Day offers visitors a chance to attend Faculty and program-specific presentations, explore various labs, watch athletic demonstrations, attend an information fair, and tour the scenic campus as they learn what the Brock experience is all about.<\/p>\n
Brock was recently ranked third in Canada for student experience among comprehensive universities by Maclean\u2019s Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cFall Preview Day presents an enormous opportunity,\u201d said Director of Recruitment and Retention Beth Natale. \u201cIt allows our guests to experience Brock in a wide range of engaging and authentic ways and involves our entire University community.\u00a0Our guests will leave with a clear understanding of the community, support and competitive advantages associated with a Brock education, and be motivated to place Brock at the top of their University application.\u201d<\/p>\n Fall Preview Day runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Walker Sports Complex acting as the main hub for the event. An information fair in Ian Beddis Gymnasium, as well as tours and experiential opportunities will run throughout the day. A shuttle heading downtown to tour the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts will depart Brock at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n Free parking will be available on campus throughout the day.<\/p>\n Students can register for Fall Preview Day in advance online<\/a><\/u> or in person on Sunday. All students who register are automatically entered into a $10,000 draw that will support tuition and residence in fall 2019.
