{"id":52836,"date":"2018-08-29T16:28:35","date_gmt":"2018-08-29T20:28:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=52836"},"modified":"2018-08-29T17:53:05","modified_gmt":"2018-08-29T21:53:05","slug":"brock-staff-asked-to-help-answer-questions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/08\/brock-staff-asked-to-help-answer-questions\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock staff asked to help answer questions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With thousands of students and their families arriving at Brock for the new school year, Brock staff are being asked to pitch in when it comes to providing answers.<\/p>\n<p>Previously launched as part of Student Life and Community Experience\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2017\/09\/brocku-4u-offers-increased-support-for-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BrockU 4U campaign<\/a>, the Ask Me buttons have become a valuable part of the toolkit used to welcome new students to the University.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven in a busy hallway, the buttons are easy to spot,\u201d said Bradley Clarke, Director, Student Life and Community Experience. \u201cThey offer a sense of comfort and reassurance to students who are experiencing their first few days on campus and may need a bit of guidance from a friendly face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the campaign, \u2018Ask Me\u2019 booths will be set up in high-traffic areas on campus beginning Sunday during the annual Move-In Day event.
