With mosquito season comes the threat of West Nile virus.<\/p>\n

From June 27 to Sept. 21, Brock University will conduct a larviciding program under the authority of Niagara Region and City of Hamilton medical officers of health to control larval mosquitos and prevent the possible spread of West Nile virus.<\/p>\n

The larvicide Mosquiron will be applied by direct hand application into catch basins at Brock University-owned and leased properties in Niagara and Hamilton.<\/p>\n

All larvicides will be applied by licensed applicators through the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change.<\/p>\n
