Master\u2019s and PhD students, as well as undergraduate students planning to move on to graduate school, are entering a busy application period for 2011 external graduate scholarship competitions.<\/p>\n
The major funding agencies \u2014 SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR, OGS and OGSST \u2014 annually award millions of dollars in funding packages based on the calibre of a student\u2019s research and scholarship.<\/p>\n
Brock\u2019s undergraduate and graduate students have been very successful in the past. In 2010, graduate students at Brock received a combined total of more than $2.5 million in national and provincial awards and scholarships. The awards ranged in value from $15,000 to $50,000 per year.<\/p>\n
To help inform students of the scholarship opportunities, the Faculty of Graduate Studies is holding a series of information workshops. The remaining dates for workshops are as follows:<\/p>\n
