The arrival of spring on campus is a sign that recruitment season is in full bloom, and early indicators show a growing trend towards Brock University.<\/p>\n
Though it will be months before universities have a clear picture of their enrolment for September, Brock officials are cautiously optimistic as the early numbers begin to roll in.<\/p>\n
The University\u2019s data suggests that applications for admission to Brock from potential first-year students are up by more than five per cent from the same time last year. Programs within the Faculties of Applied Health Sciences, Mathematics and Science, and Social Sciences are so far showing the largest increases over 2017.<\/p>\n
\u201cIncreasing applications and confirmations from around the world are evidence that Brock\u2019s reputation is also growing, in terms of academic excellence and student experience,\u201d\u00a0says University Registrar Geraldine Jones. \u201cAnd while there is still plenty of time left in this enrolment cycle, we are confident that we will be in great shape this September.\u201d<\/p>\n
Recruitment activities so far this spring have also revealed rising levels of interest in Brock. Participation by potential students and their families in campus tours during the recent March Break increased by 25 per cent over last year.<\/p>\n
