She will discuss he research paper titled,\u00a0\u201cThe impact of superior-subordinate identity and discretionary ex post adjustment on subordinate expectancy and performance,\u201d which focuses on the superior-subordinate relationship in the context of job performance.<\/p>\n<p>The paper explores how changing a performance goal at the end of an evaluation period as a result of an uncontrolled negative event can affect performance, as well as how the superior-subordinate relationship can contribute to or offset the effect.<\/p>\n<p>In its 12th\u00a0year, Goodman\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/goodman\/faculty-research\/luncheon-speaker-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luncheon Speaker Series<\/a>\u00a0provides an informal and engaging opportunity to listen and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with colleagues internationally.<\/p>\n<p>The event is being held in Taro 203 Friday, March 23 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Space is limited. Goodman faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend.
