{"id":49898,"date":"2018-03-14T08:26:53","date_gmt":"2018-03-14T12:26:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=49898"},"modified":"2018-03-14T16:30:42","modified_gmt":"2018-03-14T20:30:42","slug":"change-of-hours-for-free-goodman-tax-clinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/03\/change-of-hours-for-free-goodman-tax-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"Change of hours for free Goodman tax clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hours have been modified for the remaining days of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/02\/goodman-students-offering-free-tax-filing-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">complimentary tax clinic<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> being offered to the local community by Brock University\u2019s Goodman School of Business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The clinic, held in the Computer Commons Training Room in Scotiabank Hall, will continue this week with the following hours: Thursday, March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m., with the last client time slot at 3:30 p.m., and Friday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the last time slot at 12:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyone with a modest income and simple tax situation is eligible for the service, which is held in partnership with Canada Revenue Agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The service is free of charge and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyone attending the tax clinic should bring government-issued photo identification, along with all relevant tax forms. The service is provided for 2017 tax returns only.
