{"id":49812,"date":"2018-03-09T12:06:25","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T17:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=49812"},"modified":"2018-03-09T12:28:12","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T17:28:12","slug":"drop-in-sessions-to-address-student-finance-questions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/03\/drop-in-sessions-to-address-student-finance-questions\/","title":{"rendered":"Drop-in sessions to address student finance questions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student Accounts and Financial Aid is hosting a series of events to help improve financial literacy on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Weekly FinTip$ Tue$days sessions will aim to answer key financial questions often asked by students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sessions take place Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. in TH 240, 1 to 2 p.m. in WH 207 and 2 to 3 p.m. in TH 246. While each date focuses on a different financial topic, student finance-related questions of any kind are welcomed at each session.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upcoming dates include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>March 13:<\/strong> How to finance Spring\/Summer study periods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students registered or planning to register for 2018 Spring\/Summer courses can attend any of the three sessions held throughout the day to learn about OSAP funding for Spring\/Summer.
