{"id":48872,"date":"2018-01-17T09:01:52","date_gmt":"2018-01-17T14:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=48872"},"modified":"2018-01-17T09:04:12","modified_gmt":"2018-01-17T14:04:12","slug":"lunchtime-talk-to-focus-on-knowledge-mobilization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/01\/lunchtime-talk-to-focus-on-knowledge-mobilization\/","title":{"rendered":"Lunchtime talk to focus on knowledge mobilization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Michael Armstrong, an associate professor in Brock\u2019s Goodman School of Business, will deliver a presentation about knowledge mobilization this week as part of Goodman\u2019s Luncheon Speaker Series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Armstrong teaches courses on quality improvement, game theory and operations management and has received several awards including a Fulbright Scholar fellowship and a Chancellor&#8217;s Chair for Teaching Excellence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An experienced writer, Armstrong has authored many op-eds and articles for the media and excels at explaining complex topics concisely and simply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now in its 12th year, Goodman\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/goodman\/faculty-research\/luncheon-speaker-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luncheon Speaker Series<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provides an informal and engaging opportunity to listen and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with colleagues internationally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event is being held Friday, Jan. 19 in Taro Hall 203 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Space is limited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goodman faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend.
