{"id":48868,"date":"2018-01-16T09:25:54","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T14:25:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=48868"},"modified":"2018-12-20T11:51:27","modified_gmt":"2018-12-20T16:51:27","slug":"international-students-take-in-frozen-falls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2018\/01\/international-students-take-in-frozen-falls\/","title":{"rendered":"International students take in frozen Falls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though she has seen photos of it in the past, seeing the famed Niagara Falls up close and personal left Alycee Byrd in awe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYou don\u2019t realize how big it is until you see it in person,\u201d the third-year exchange student from Greensboro, N.C., said of the popular landmark found in Niagara\u2019s backyard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Byrd was part of a day-trip of more than 50 international and domestic students who made the trek to see the Falls on Jan. 13 with Brock International Services.
