Brock is offering a series of winter camps to keep children busy during the holiday break.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquatics, Snowfest and Youth University programs will run on campus Jan. 2 to 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquatics camps include Springboard Diving (Grades 1 to 8), Junior Lifeguard Club (Grades 3 to 8) and Aquatic Multi-Sport (Grades 3 to 8), each taking place in the University\u2019s Olympic-sized pool.<\/span><\/p>\n

Snowfest has children in Grades 1 to 8 participating in a variety of activities, including swimming, racquet sports, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey and handball, as well as spending time outdoors on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth University, for participants in Grades 2 to 8, includes outdoor activities, as well as skill development workshops, such as designing, building and testing bottle rocket cars, participating in improv workshops and learning magic tricks.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCamps provide Brock students with valuable experience in planning and teaching programs to a wide variety of children and youth,\u201d said Karen McAllister-Kenny, Brock\u2019s Director, Youth Programs. \u201cThe January camps are also a good change of pace, as they give us the opportunity to try some different activities in the snow.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cost to participate in the Aquatics and Snowfest programs is $150 for four days. A daily rate of $40 is available for Snowfest and Youth University.<\/span><\/p>\n

Optional before and after care, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m., is available for $8 a day.<\/span><\/p>\n
