The Brock University Choirs is set to present its first concert of the 2017-18 season.<\/p>\n
The Viva Voce! Choral Series kicks off with Wintersong, featuring works for voices, percussion and violin and conducted by Rachel Rensink-Hoff. The concert takes place Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cairns Recital Hall at the FirstOntario Performing Arts\u00a0Centre.<\/p>\n
Winterson features an eclectic range of choral music from Handel’s well-known anthem,\u00a0The King Shall Rejoice,<\/em>\u00a0Mendelssohn’s\u00a0Laudate Pueri Dominum <\/em>and\u00a0The Vagabond<\/em>\u00a0by Vaughan Williams. The concert also features contemporary compositions by Sarah Quartel, Matthew Emery and Eric Barnum and new arrangements by Clifton Noble, Brian Holmes and Harris Loewen.<\/p>\n Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $5 through the eyeGo program.
