{"id":47345,"date":"2017-10-18T08:51:41","date_gmt":"2017-10-18T12:51:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=47345"},"modified":"2017-10-19T12:47:26","modified_gmt":"2017-10-19T16:47:26","slug":"project-proposals-sought-for-academics-without-borders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2017\/10\/project-proposals-sought-for-academics-without-borders\/","title":{"rendered":"Project proposals sought for Academics Without Borders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Academics Without Borders (AWB) is looking for project ideas to improve and expand higher education in developing nations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The non-governmental Canadian organization, of which Brock University is a member, has put a call out for project proposals that focus on a number of areas, such as health, teaching and learning methodology, various academic disciplines, student services and back office operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A list of current and previous projects, which may provide inspiration for future proposals, is available on the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.awb-usf.org\/projects\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Academics Without Borders website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AWB carries out its mission by supporting projects in institutions of higher education in developing countries and by working with talented and committed people there who are initiating and sustaining institutional growth and change.
