{"id":47330,"date":"2017-10-18T10:11:12","date_gmt":"2017-10-18T14:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=47330"},"modified":"2017-10-18T10:22:27","modified_gmt":"2017-10-18T14:22:27","slug":"cfi-hosting-iaminnovation-contest-for-research-students-post-docs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2017\/10\/cfi-hosting-iaminnovation-contest-for-research-students-post-docs\/","title":{"rendered":"CFI hosting #IAmInnovation contest for research students, post-docs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Canada Foundation for Innovation, one of Brock University\u2019s major funders, wants to know how working in state-of-the-art facilities and with cutting-edge equipment has helped research and post-doctoral students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organization has launched the #IAmInnovation Twitter contest in an effort to show how CFI-funded infrastructure has opened opportunities for Canada\u2019s next generation of researchers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants are asked to tweet a photo or video of themselves working with CFI-funded equipment or in a CFI-funded research space. All entries should include both hashtags #IAmInnovation and #Contest to be eligible. Participants must also<span class=\"s1\">\u00a0follow CFI\u2019s Twitter account, @InnovationCA, to be eligible to win.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Photo entries require a caption. Videos should be a maximum of 60 seconds with a spoken script.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contestants are asked to have fun and get creative with their Twitter submissions, which are meant to help the CFI tell all Canadians just how important it is to equip this country\u2019s bright minds with the tools they need to think big and innovate.
