{"id":47105,"date":"2017-10-11T15:30:13","date_gmt":"2017-10-11T19:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=47105"},"modified":"2017-10-11T15:30:13","modified_gmt":"2017-10-11T19:30:13","slug":"brock-conference-to-explore-concepts-of-youth-and-childhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2017\/10\/brock-conference-to-explore-concepts-of-youth-and-childhood\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock conference to explore concepts of youth and childhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A conference at Brock University this week will bring together child and youth studies experts from across North America.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/social-sciences\/departments-and-centres\/child-and-youth-studies\/chys-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conceptualizing Childhood and Youth<\/a> <\/em>is a three-day conference starting Thursday, Oct. 12 that will allow researchers, graduate students and community members to learn from each other and highlight some of the work being done in the transdisciplinary field.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is expected to draw more than 100 people to Brock\u2019s Sean O\u2019Sullivan Lecture Hall.
