Girls and power in the age of Trump: <\/strong>American broadcaster WNYC included research by Brock\u2019s Shauna Pomerantz in its series on modern-day activism<\/a>. That also led to Pomerantz being featured in Fortune magazine with a quote of the day saying: \u201cDon\u2019t we want to encourage girls? Aboslutely. But they have to be armed with the realities of our culture.\u201d<\/p>\n Sarah Argue of Rock of Arts: <\/strong>Brock alumna Sarah Argue was featured by Ottawa Community News<\/a>. After graduating from Brock\u2019s Dramatic Arts program, Argue launched her own travelling puppet show, Rock of Arts.<\/p>\n Spirits awaken at indigenous celebration: <\/strong>The St. Catharines Standard wrote a story about the late Suzanne Rochon-Burnett<\/a>, an honorary doctorate recipient at Brock University whose art is being displayed in an exhibition at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts. Rochon-Burnett\u2019s passion for indigenous art is living on through the work of her daughter, Michele-Elise Burnett.<\/p>\n Did we miss something?
