A new passageway has restored pedestrian access between the Matheson Learning Commons and the Schmon Tower\u2019s lobby elevators, during business hours.<\/p>\n
While construction will continue to indefinitely shut down the Tower forecourt area, people travelling to all administrative floors of the Tower can now access the lobby (200-level) elevators from the west side of the lobby during hours when the Learning Commons is open.<\/p>\n
When the Learning Commons is closed, access to the Tower\u2019s administrative floors will still be available at the 100 (basement) level on a 24-hour basis.<\/p>\n
While daily hours vary, the Learning Commons\u2014 which is part of the James. A Gibson Library \u2014 is generally open from early mornings until late evenings. See the schedule at\u00a0brocku.ca\/library\/use\/hours\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n Access for lobby elevators from the Chown Complex (Tim Hortons) side of the Tower is expected to be available within a week.<\/p>\n Washrooms across from the elevators on the lobby level are closed due to the construction.<\/p>\n Anyone needing help in wayfinding can go to or contact the Welcome Desk at the Brock Card Office 688-5550 INFO (x4636).
