Brock research explains how municipalities deal with extreme weather:<\/strong> The St. Catharines Standard and other Postmedia dailies in Niagara ran a story about Brock University researcher Cheryl Mallen\u2019s work around the impact of climate change on municipalities<\/a>.<\/p>\n Niagara\u2019s first West Nile case confirmed:<\/strong> A week after Brock professor Fiona Hunter and PhD student Bryan Giordano had research published predicting a West Nile outbreak in Ontario, the St. Catharines Standard reported that the first human case of the disease in Niagara was confirmed.<\/a><\/p>\n Separately, the Stratford Beacon-Herald also reported<\/a> that numerous West Nile-infected mosquito pools have been confirmed in Perth County.<\/p>\n Did we miss something?
