Brock U water safety expert comments on black water spill: <\/strong>Emeritus Professor of Chemistry Ian Brindle continued to speak with the media over the weekend about the black water spill in the Niagara River. He appeared on CHCH News<\/a> and on CBC Friday<\/a>, and was interviewed on CKTB\u2019s Tim Denis Show Monday.<\/p>\n Niagara teacher heads north: <\/strong>Recent Brock graduate Emily Girotti will soon travel to Poplar Hill First Nation, a remote northern Ontario community near the Manitoba border that’s only accessible by plane, to start a two-year stint at an elementary school. The Niagara Falls Review interviewed Girotti about the opportunity<\/a>.<\/p>\n BU basketball team bound for Canada: <\/strong>The Brock Badgers men\u2019s basketball team will open their pre-season schedule against the Binghamton Bearcats, a Division 1 school in New York.
