His research focuses on the global governance of education, international achievement studies, migrant integration and student achievement, education policy analysis, and educational reform and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>He is also president-elect for the Canadian Educational Researchers Association.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a tremendous honour to be included in this series,\u201d said Volante, \u201cas the other scholars in previous issues have a strong international profile.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The AERA is a global organization with members in more than 90 countries, and each year hosts the world\u2019s largest gathering of education researchers.
