The doors were open and the public was happy to take a glimpse\u00a0inside.<\/p>\n
Nearly 400 people\u00a0took the opportunity to explore Brock\u2019s arts facilities during a Doors Open Ontario event Saturday, making their way<\/span>\u00a0through the historic Rodman Hall Art Centre and the state-of-the-art Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts in downtown St. Catharines.<\/span><\/p>\n Guided tours were offered at both\u00a0sites at no cost.<\/span><\/p>\n Doors Open Ontario is an annual initiative that prompts more than 1,000 sites across the province to invite visitors in free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n Visitors to the Marilyn I. Walker School had the chance to take photos with Brock\u2019s mascot Boomer, who was dressed in his artistic gear, and listen to the musical stylings of alumna Negin Rezaei Asl on piano.<\/span><\/p>\n Rodman Hall provided the opportunity for guests to create their own art after exploring the historical Thomas Rodman Merritt House, built in the 1860s, and its adjoining contemporary art gallery.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t
