Gabriel has co-authored Essentials of Electromyography<\/em> with Gary Kamen. The book is published by Human Kinetics.<\/p>\n Gabriel teaches fourth-year Biomechanics and is researching the biomechanical and physiological significance of the surface electromyographic signal.<\/p>\n Gabriel was also profiled in the recent issue of Health, Wellness and Safety<\/em> magazine. In the article, he discusses his transition from body builder to long-distance runner. (“Early on, during the winter, I’d spend more time getting dressed to go outside than on the actual run itself,” he said.)
