Student experience is one of Brock University\u2019s greatest strengths, and a new ambassador program will recognize students who actively demonstrate their Brock pride and share it with potential new international students.<\/p>\n
Under the new International Student Ambassador Award program, selected students will have their tuition fees cut from the international rate to the domestic rate \u2014 a discount of about $16,000.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe really want to reward those international students who go above and beyond to represent the mission and vision of Brock University,\u201d said Leigh-Ellen Keating, Director, Brock International Services. \u201cThese are the students who stand out both with their academic achievements and their community engagement on and off campus.\u201d<\/p>\n
Between 10 and 15 students will be selected as ambassadors through the program each year. To be eligible, they must hold sole citizenship with a country other than Canada and be registered in full-time undergraduate or graduate studies. Both incoming and returning students are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n

The student ambassador recipients will represent the University through a variety of recruiting, community engagement and marketing initiatives in Canada and in their home countries. They must have a minimum 70 per cent academic average to be considered and they\u2019ll be eligible to reapply each year, up to a maximum of four years.<\/p>\n
