When Feb. 22 rolls around, the Brock community is being asked to think pink.<\/p>\n
Pink T-Shirt Day will be celebrated on campus next Wednesday in support of the Bullying Stops Here campaign.<\/p>\n
The University is encouraging people to wear their favourite shade of the rosy colour in an effort to show that bullying will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n
Brock Health Management and Wellness Manager Kathryn Walker said the day is meant to promote kindness among students, staff and faculty, while also taking a stand against bullying.<\/p>\n
The goal, she said, is to \u201cspread the message that Brock is a safe and welcoming environment and that showing kindness to all is part of our core values as a higher education facility and as a workplace.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pink T-Shirt Day has been making waves across the country since it began in Nova Scotia in 2007.<\/p>\n
