<\/b>Flu season is still in full force.<\/span><\/p>\n

Human Resources is reminding the Brock community that there is still time to get a flu shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision to get vaccinated\u00a0is ultimately up to each individual and consultation with a health professional, walk-in clinic or local pharmacist is recommended.<\/span><\/p>\n

A list of locations where the flu shot is available can be <\/span>accessed through the Government of Ontario website<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the 2016-17 winter has been mild so far, change appears to be on the horizon.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to The Weather Network, a cold air mass has settled over southern Ontario.<\/span><\/p>\n

Colder temperatures and reduced humidity offer favourable conditions for the influenza virus to thrive.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an effort to minimize the spread of the virus, Custodial Services continues to be vigilant by cleaning and sanitizing high-touch areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Health, Safety and Wellness, within Human Resources, is encouraging people to watch an informative video created by fourth-year Nursing students to educate the Brock community on how to stay healthy during flu season.<\/span>
