With Black History Month kicking off Wednesday, Feb. 1, Brock University has a series of events planned.<\/p>\n
Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures Associate ProfessorJean Ntakirutimana said it\u2019s important to recognize African heritage at Brock and beyond.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a tradition of being directly involved in the celebration African Heritage Month in collaboration with members of the larger community because our Institution has a social mission of promoting an inclusive education and more sensitivity to multiculturalism and multilingualism,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
