The time is near for Brock Badgers fans to pack the stands and paint the Meridian red.<\/p>\n
The men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball teams will host the Ryerson Rams in a key mid-season doubleheader on Friday, Jan. 27.<\/span><\/p>\n Brock Sports is hoping for record-setting attendance, topping the November 2015 home opener against Lakehead University, which drew 2,887 fans.<\/span><\/p>\n General admission tickets and courtside options for the Paint the Meridian Red games are available through<\/span> Ticketmaster online<\/span><\/a>. Prices are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $35 for courtside. For staff and faculty, use the promo code (GoBadgers) for a reduced general admission ticket price of $8!<\/span><\/p>\n For anyone interested in watching the game in added style, suites are available to the Brock community for $125 for up to eight people plus the cost of tickets.<\/span><\/p>\n Food and drinks are available at an additional cost. To book a suite, please contact Amanda Laprise (alaprise@brocku.ca<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n Free Brock student tickets for the doubleheader will be made available beginning Monday, Jan. 23. Tickets can be picked up beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Walker Complex welcome desk.<\/span><\/p>\n The Jan. 27 doubleheader will begin with the Badgers women tipping off at 6 p.m. Ryerson currently sits seventh in the country with a 9-2 record while the Badgers have a 4-6 record.<\/span><\/p>\n The men\u2019s game will follow at 8 p.m. when the Badgers, ranked eighth in Canada with a 6-4 record, play the Rams, ranked fourth with a perfect 11-0 record.<\/span><\/p>\n Special half-time performances are planned for the games and will be announced next week.<\/span>
