Great students are the result of hard work and great teachers, and Brock wants to recognize those who stand out.<\/p>\n
The deadline for nominations is fast approaching for two annual teaching awards including the Brock University Award for Excellence in Teaching for Early Career Faculty<\/a> and the Don Ursino Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Large Classes<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Early Career Faculty award recognizes the contributions to teaching undertaken by a new faculty member who is in the first five years of a tenure-track position.<\/p>\n The Don Ursino award recognizes an outstanding teacher who demonstrates commitment to the improvement of student learning in a large class.<\/p>\n Submissions for both awards are due November 8.
