He will talk to students about making the move from the world of academia to industry.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are now open for the Ontario Graduate Scholarship worth up to $15,000 to be used toward graduate programs at Goodman. There is an information session being held Thursday, Sept. 22 at 1:30 p.m. in Pond Inlet to learn more about this opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>The Goodman School of Business is once again sponsoring teams of students to attend both Queen\u2019s University\u2019s Inter-Collegiate Business Competition and Grossman School of Business\u2019s Global Family Enterprise Case Competition. Details on both of these competitions have been emailed to all undergraduate Goodman students.<\/p>\n<p>Today marks the start of trading in the popular Investment Challenge for Charity hosted by the Brock Finance and Investment Group (BFIG) at Goodman, a student-run organization made up of focused undergraduate students interested in finance who actively manage a portfolio in excess of $15,000 and attend and compete in finance-related events and competitions. The Investment Challenge has a $20 price tag with proceeds going to the Niagara Community Foundation. The registration fee gives participants access to an investment simulation with a $100,000 portfolio they can manage over six weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Students interested in marketing can apply to be an ambassador at the Brock Marketing Association (BMA) at Goodman until Sept. 30.
