{"id":41195,"date":"2016-09-22T10:15:47","date_gmt":"2016-09-22T14:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=41195"},"modified":"2016-09-22T16:19:38","modified_gmt":"2016-09-22T20:19:38","slug":"blood-donor-clinics-taking-place-on-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2016\/09\/blood-donor-clinics-taking-place-on-campus\/","title":{"rendered":"Blood donor clinics taking place on campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Brock University is hosting a pair\u00a0of\u00a0annual blood donor clinics on campus this fall. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This year, the clinics will take place on Friday, Sept. 23 and Friday, Nov. 18 in the Ian Beddis Gymnasium.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Students can get involved by making a blood donation or volunteering to help out with the events.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Donate blood<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Individuals can register online with <a href=\"http:\/\/blood.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Canadian Blood Services<\/a> and book an appointment for the blood donor clinics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\">Volunteer<\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Volunteers are a large part of the success of a blood drive. Student Life &amp; Community Experience is always looking for volunteers to assist with promotions and recruitment leading up to the clinics.
