{"id":4084,"date":"2010-07-12T10:58:38","date_gmt":"2010-07-12T15:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=4084"},"modified":"2010-07-12T10:58:38","modified_gmt":"2010-07-12T15:58:38","slug":"participants-from-across-ontario-attend-caeco-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2010\/07\/participants-from-across-ontario-attend-caeco-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Participants from across Ontario attend CAECO conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The welcome session and round of introductions at the ADED Facilitator Day 2010 could have doubled as a geography lesson on Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-one facilitators came from across the province \u2014 east, west, north and south \u2014 to participate in the day-long annual event, held recently by the Centre for Adult Education and Community Outreach (CAECO), at Brock\u2019s Hamilton campus.<\/p>\n<p>Their attendance highlights the reach, diversity and accessibility of those who participate in Brock\u2019s online and on-site adult education programs.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon Abbey, CAECO director, described the day as more like \u201cold home week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the best day of the year,\u201d Abbey said. \u201cWe have a great team and you are part of our team \u2013 each of you is professional, insightful and committed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI read the evaluations that we receive from students each year and I&#8217;m blown away by the highly positive comments that they share about you.
