{"id":40612,"date":"2016-08-23T09:33:06","date_gmt":"2016-08-23T13:33:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=40612"},"modified":"2016-08-25T15:32:48","modified_gmt":"2016-08-25T19:32:48","slug":"tickets-still-available-for-opening-of-term","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2016\/08\/tickets-still-available-for-opening-of-term\/","title":{"rendered":"Tickets still available for Opening of Term"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"the-content\">\n<p>There are still tickets remaining for Thursday&#8217;s Opening of Term Celebration in Jubilee Courtyard.<\/p>\n<p>Acting President Brian Hutchings will host the event, which will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $5 each and must be purchased in advance at the Welcome Desk or the Brock Card office.<\/p>\n<p>Food options for this year include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tandoori-style chicken kebabs served with cucumber yogurt sauce and warm naan bread<\/li>\n<li>Grilled portabella mushroom topped with roasted red pepper and whipped spicy siracha double-cream brie on a pretzel bun (vegetarian)<\/li>\n<li>Grilled bison burger topped with caramelized pear and Upper Canada Comfort Cream cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All will be served with a side of white and red quinoa salad with sundried cranberries and pecans.
