Her research received widespread attention this week from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/news\/gta\/2016\/04\/18\/women-in-retail-jobs-hardest-hit-in-by-gender-pay-gap-says-new-report.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Toronto Star<\/em><\/a><em>, CBC, <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thespec.com\/news-story\/6501531-women-in-retail-jobs-hardest-hit-in-by-gender-pay-gap-says-new-report\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Hamilton Spectator<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stcatharinesstandard.ca\/2016\/04\/18\/brock-study-spotlights-retail-gender-wage-gap\" target=\"_blank\"><em>St. Catharines Standard,<\/em><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chch.com\/brock-labour-expert-releases-first-ever-report-gender-wage-gap-ontario-retail\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>CHCH News<\/em><\/a><em>, 680 News Toronto, 570 News Kitchener, Niagara Falls Review<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metronews.ca\/news\/toronto\/2016\/04\/18\/women-in-retail-hardest-his-gender-wage-gap.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Metro News<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ca.finance.yahoo.com\/blogs\/insight\/gender-pay-inequality-most-drastic-in-retail-182448931.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Yahoo! The ceremony was in response to the suicide epidemics facing the northern First Nations communities of Attawapiskat, Ont. And Cross Lake, Man.
