It also includes, for the first time in a Canadian literary publication, a special review of contemporary Scandinavian writing.<\/p>\n<p>It also features poetry and interviews from \u201cDUB Revolushun,\u201d an evening of dub poetry, photographic exhibitions, and talks on migrant workers and labour issues held at the Niagara Artists&#8217; Centre in downtown St. Catharines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>PRECIPICe<\/em> has become over the past few years a major voice in the Canadian literary scene,\u201d said Adam Dickinson, an assistant professor of English who co-edits the journal with fellow assistant professor Gregory Betts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur latest issue underscores this point by featuring celebrated writers like Daphne Marlatt and Lillian Allen alongside emerging Canadian talents like Jenny Sampirisi and Andy Weaver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other established and up-and-coming writers from Poland, the United States, Canada, and beyond appear in the 250-page publication. This includes St. Catharines authors Keith Inman and Malcolm Matthews, and alumni Dan Post and Kate Siklosi. The cover art is by Brock professor Bill Ralph.<\/p>\n<p><em>PRECIPICe 3.1\/3.2<\/em> was produced with the assistance of the St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program, the Department of English Language and Literature, and Humanities Research Institute at Brock University.
