The Brock University Badgers men’s and women’s basketball teams are both ranked in the CIS Top 10 for the first time together since the 2006-07 season.<\/p>\n

The Brock men open the 2015-16 CIS rankings in fourth spot after finishing the pre-season with 7-0 record against CIS opponents. The Badgers posted victories over Brandon (103-86), Winnipeg (81-52),\u00a0Manitoba (79-75),\u00a0Victoria (99-69),\u00a0Concordia (74-68),\u00a0Ryerson (92-83) and\u00a0Windsor (94-92) in the pre-season.<\/p>\n

The Brock women find themselves ranked No. 6 in the first 2015-16 CIS rankings of the season. The Badgers posted a 4-0 record against CIS opponents with victories over Memorial (83-53), Laurentian (50-45),\u00a0Saint Mary’s (59-54) and\u00a0Queen’s (68-56).<\/p>\n

The Badgers open the 2015-16 OUA regular season in Hamilton against the nationally ranked McMaster Marauders today, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
