The Faculty of Graduate Studies is holding a series of information sessions focusing on the application process and deadlines for some external scholarships.<\/p>\n
The sessions are for fourth-year undergraduate and current graduate students with a minimum 80 per cent average in each of the last two years of study. The sessions will focus on the application process and deadlines for the Tri-Agency External Scholarships (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) and Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS).<\/p>\n
In a very competitive funding environment, Brock graduate students are being increasingly recognized for the scope and calibre of their research with major awards from Tri-Council agencies, a clear measure of the potential that their work holds in contributing to discovery and innovation in Canada. In 2015, Brock graduate students received approximately $2.5 million in provincial and national funding to support research.<\/p>\n
