Hunchak starts his role on Aug. 4, a new position created to oversee strategic planning and direction of the University&#8217;s marketing, branding and communications initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Hunchak&#8217;s career spans both the public and private sectors, and includes significant post-secondary experience. He led Niagara College&#8217;s marketing and communications efforts from 2007-2013, and was also its Acting Vice-President, Student and External Relations in 2011-2012.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Niagara College he was Vice-President, Marketing at Meridian Credit Union, and for the past two years has been a partner with Armstrong Strategy Group, a consultancy specializing in branding, marketing and strategic planning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brock University has named Gord Hunchak as its new Executive Director of Marketing and Communications.
