Ontario’s new information and privacy commissioner is coming to Brock.<\/p>\n

Brian Beamish will visit Brock University on May 6 to meet with regional stakeholders and talk about the trends and future direction of access to information and protection of privacy.<\/p>\n

There will also be two panel sessions in AS 203 and AS 204. One will discuss the changing nature of access to government-held information and the evolution to a more transparent and accountable government. The other examines the many challenges of protecting personal health information in electronic environments.<\/p>\n

Please join us and be part of the discussion about how we can build a better province where our privacy is protected and governments remain accountable. Attendees can enjoy a free continental breakfast.<\/p>\n
