Each BLCS graduate was highlighted, with stories of their favourite BLCS  memories and their biggest accomplishments during their time in the  group. Lead the Change, a video highlighting created by executive member  Daniel Mariella, premiered at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Alyssa Beradocco received the Award of Merit for completing more than  800 volunteer hours with organizations both on and off campus. Aynsley  Maves won the Spirit of the BLCS award for her continued enthusiasm and  support of group events and initiatives. Kristina Wamboldt got the  Lasting Impressions award after six years of work with the society. The  Society Advancement award was presented to Breaking Barriers, an  empathy-building initiative led by Meaghan Walker and Adam Zoccoli.<\/p>\n<p>W. Aaron House, founder and former manager of the BLCS, was given an  honorary membership. House is the current Director of Post-Secondary for  Pathways to Education Canada.
