{"id":3221,"date":"2010-05-18T10:23:42","date_gmt":"2010-05-18T15:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=3221"},"modified":"2010-05-18T10:23:42","modified_gmt":"2010-05-18T15:23:42","slug":"busu-sets-40000-campaign-goal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2010\/05\/busu-sets-40000-campaign-goal\/","title":{"rendered":"BUSU sets $40,000 campaign goal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Brock University Students\u2019 Union (BUSU) hopes to raise $40,000 with its Shinerama campaign this year.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the largest goal in the history of the campaign, which raised $33,800 for Cystic Fibrosis research in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince 2004, BUSU has raised $99,605 for Cystic Fibrosis research and each year, our goal gets bigger and bigger,\u201d Shinerama co-ordinator Nicole Savage said. \u201cIt really speaks volumes to Brock students\u2019 commitment to such a great cause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brock\u2019s Shinerama efforts are part of a national campaign that raised $998,000 across Canada last year.
