Gibson Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A project of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocul.on.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ontario Council of University Libraries<\/a> (OCUL), this growing repository of accessible texts is now available as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scholarsportal.info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scholars Portal Books<\/a> platform.<\/p>\n<p>To date, the repository contains more than 2,000 texts available in five formats (two types of PDFs, Text, DAISY and ePub).<\/p>\n<p>Scholars Portal&#8217;s ACE service is focused on advancing equality for library users with print disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The repository aims to make Ontario&#8217;s university library collections accessible, enhancing user access to a diverse body of library materials.<\/p>\n<p>Once eligible students obtain an access code from <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/services-students-disabilities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Services for Students with Disabilities<\/a>, they may search ACE and download available materials.<\/p>\n<p>Requests for alternate formats not found in ACE can be submitted to <a href=\"mailto:libraryaccessibility@brocku.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">libraryaccessibility@brocku.ca<\/a> or through the alternate format request form.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact: Library Accessibility co-ordinator <a href=\"mailto:jthiessen@brocku.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jennifer Thiessen<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students with print disabilities are now able to discover and download library books in accessible formats from the Accessible Content E-Portal (ACE), including at the James A.
