Results will be announced Oct. 30 at 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The Brock University Students&#8217; Administrative Council (BUSAC) is a branch of the elected student government within <a href=\"http:\/\/www.busu.net\" target=\"_blank\">BUSU<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>BUSAC is a faculty-based electoral body that governs over decisions such as bylaws, club funding, capital requests, political policies, elections, and has several committees across a number of spectrums that BUSU oversees.<\/p>\n<p>The Senate is responsible for the educational policy of the University, and with the approval of the Board in so far as expenditure of funds is concerned, may enact bylaws and regulations for the conduct of its affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Voting will be done online. Students will receive a ballot to their Brock email to vote for the five Senate positions, while students in the Faculties of Business and Social Sciences will receive an additional ballot to vote for their BUSAC representative.<\/p>\n<p>2014 BUSAC\/Senate byelection candidates:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/university-secretariat\/about-the-senate\" target=\"_blank\">Senate<\/a> (1-year term): 2 seats available<br \/>\n\u2022\tCarlin Jessop<br \/>\n\u2022\tJennifer Rubbra<br \/>\n\u2022\tAntonio Sergi<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/university-secretariat\/about-the-senate\" target=\"_blank\">Senate<\/a> (2-year term): 3 seats available<br \/>\n\u2022\tSpencer Dawson<br \/>\n\u2022\tHanan Moussa<br \/>\n\u2022\tSam Piccolo<br \/>\n\u2022\tJeremy Steinhausen<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/social-sciences\" target=\"_blank\">Faculty of Social Sciences<\/a>: 1 seat available<br \/>\n\u2022\tMonique Blake<br \/>\n\u2022\tMegann Friesen<br \/>\n\u2022\tAli Hammoud<br \/>\n\u2022\tJad Nasser<br \/>\n\u2022\tGeraldine Rieger<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/business\/\" target=\"_blank\">Faculty of Business<\/a>:\u00a01 seat available<br \/>\n\u2022\tGavin Lutz<br \/>\n\u2022\tDeeksha Sharma<br \/>\n\u2022\tSomeer Verma<\/p>\n<p>The Senate currently consists of 67 members.
