Can easy-to-use online tools increase the reach of Brock research?<\/p>\n<p>Find out the answers to these questions and more Oct. 23, when the University joins scholarly communities around the world celebrating the 7th annual International Open Access Week.<\/p>\n<p>The James A. Gibson Library is hosting a day of events showcasing Open Access: an evolution in scholarly publishing that is transforming how research is produced and shared, while widening its impact.<\/p>\n<p>All are welcome to attend <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/BrockOADay2014 \" target=\"_blank\">Open Access Day<\/a> at Brock: Oct. 23, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Most events will be held in the e-classroom, TH253, except for the More Open, More Impact workshop and the prize wheel.<\/p>\n<p>9 a.m. &#8211; 9:50 a.m. &#8211; &#8220;It&#8217;s a Bit Like the Wild West Out There&#8221;: Brock University faculty attitudes towards Open Access publishing.
