Faculty and staff have raised an additional $265,205 in support of the Family Campaign for a Bold New Brock in the past year. To date, the Brock family has contributed more than $943,000.<\/p>\n
With the leadership and encouragement of 19 Family Campaign cabinet volunteers led by Tom Arkell and Lorne Adams, 655 individuals \u2014 or 45 per cent of Brock\u2019s campus community \u2014 have participated in the campaign.<\/p>\n
Faculty and staff participation in the campaign leverages federal and provincial government investments. It encourages individuals, corporations and foundations to support Brock in its effort to achieve the goals set out in its academic plan.<\/p>\n
All faculty and staff should be proud of Brock\u2019s achievements, President Jack Lightstone said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe energy and determination shown by the Brock community this spring has been an inspiration to behold,” he said. “Thanks to the generous support of Brock faculty and staff, we are closer to realizing our $75-million fundraising goal for a bold new Brock and bold new future \u2014 something we should all be proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n
