He lives in north St. Catharines and has worked at Brock for two years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like about your job? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three things: Brock students, the variety in what I do every day and my bosses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Brock students:<\/em> Facilitating student leadership and engagement opportunities has me in constant contact with Brock students. They embody Brock&#8217;s caring community and innovative spirit.  They are absolutely the best part of my job.<\/li>\n<li> <em>The variety:<\/em> Every day I get to experience something new.  Since starting my job just two years ago, I&#8217;ve helped run Spread the Net, Participation Passport, Don&#8217;s training, Foundations in Leadership Series&#8217;: Bronze (interpersonal communications), Silver (problem solving and conflict management) and Gold (group work).  I&#8217;ve also co-designed the Executive Forum (organizational leadership for Brock clubs), the Centre for Student Leadership and Engagement, LEAP (interactive student services orientation for incoming students) and Peer Mediation. My next adventure in co-designing is Foundations in Leadership Platinum (exploring leadership style).<\/li>\n<li><em>My bosses:<\/em> Les McCurdy-Myers and Brad Clarke are great to work for.  They empower my successes through constant encouragement, support and guidance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do you do for fun?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I actually find my job to be a lot of fun, and outside of work I enjoy watching classic movies; experimenting with cooking; sports like jogging, underwater hockey and squash; creative writing and spending time in nature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was the last good book you read?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Animal Farm<\/em>.  I appreciate this child-like fable and the depth of meaning beneath its surface. I gain new insights each time I read it.
