Brock University Graduate Students’ Association (GSA)<\/a> is currently putting together a charity-semi formal to raise money for Wellspring Niagara<\/a>, a not-for-profit cancer support centre for patients and caregivers.<\/p>\n The event, in which 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to Wellspring, takes place Friday, Oct. 25, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.<\/p>\n The GSA is looking for Brock students who would like to donate their time – in 30 minute or one-hour time slots – and show off their musical talents to an audience of students, faculty and staff. Solo artists as well as groups are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n If you’re interested, email gsacomm@brocku.ca or drop by the GSA office (MCC302).<\/p>\n Tickets for the event are available for purchase at the GSA office, $50\/person or $90\/couple. Tickets include a plated three-course meal with a choice of entr\u00e9e (grilled salmon, pan seared chicken, prime rib or vegetable risotto), free glass of wine, cash bar, entertainment, door prizes, and more than $4,000 in silent auction items.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Do you have a passion for playing a musical instrument?
