Over the past two months, Brock Alumni Networks have hosted over five successful events all over southern Ontario. Each event is organized by a group of dedicated alumni volunteers who hope to connect with fellow grads for social, professional development and networking events. We asked attendees from each event to review their experience while there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever attended an alumni event before?
\n<\/span>Yes, I<\/span> have attended the Alumni Association’s AGM in 2011 and 2012 as well as the Alumni of Distinction Awards in 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n

Describe the event in three words.<\/strong>
\nSavvy, Fresh, Yummy<\/em><\/p>\n

What was your favourite part of the event?<\/strong>
\nAlthough the white chocolate truffle was one of the best things that I have ever tasted, the best part was the fellowship.<\/em><\/p>\n

Have you ever attended an alumni event before?<\/strong>
\nYes. I attended the Toronto Brock Alumni Pub Night in May 2011.<\/em><\/p>\n

Describe the event in three words.<\/strong>
\nEngaging, Informative, Good Conversations<\/em><\/p>\n

What was your\u00a0favorite\u00a0part of the event?<\/strong><\/strong>
\nConnecting with local grads, especially others who had just moved to the area (similar situation as myself). Food was great too!<\/em><\/p>\n

Have you ever attended an alumni event before?<\/strong>
\nYes, I have previously attended the speaker series during Brock Days Alumni Weekend in 2010 and 2011 and hosted the Brock Cheerleading Alumni Reunion<\/a> during Brock Days Alumni Weekend in 2012. \u00a0This Lululemon event, however, was the first local Alumni event I have attended.<\/em><\/p>\n

Describe the event in three words.<\/strong>
\nPeaceful, Engaging, Unique<\/em><\/p>\n

What was your favourite part of the event?<\/strong>
\n My favourite part of this event was the opportunity to share something that I am personally interested in, yoga (and shopping), with fellow Badger Alumni. It was great to see some familiar faces in the crowd, reconnect with old colleagues and network with new friends during the private shopping event.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nThe dean, Don Cyr, playing piano.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n Networking, YoPros (young professionals), fun.<\/em><\/p>\n

What was your favourite part of the event?<\/strong>
\n My favourite part was the social before the game. I made some new connections and had \u00a0great conversations with Brock Alumni and Co-Op students.<\/em><\/p>\n
