Joanne McKee, Interim Vice-President, Finance and Greg Finn, Vice Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic are pleased to announce the appointment of Juan Xu to the position of director of institutional analysis and planning effective Sept. 1, 2012.<\/p>\n
This new position will report directly to the Office of the Provost, through the Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic.<\/p>\n
Xu brings to this position extensive institutional analysis experience with wide-ranging knowledge of Brock and Ontario’s enrolment, tuition funding and data analysis. She has developed many important contacts and collaborates with colleagues across Ontario and Canada through publications and presentations at various institutional analysis and research forums.<\/p>\n
Previously, Xu served as manager, institutional analysis at Brock since 2005. Her educational background includes a PhD in educational leadership and higher education with a concentration in management information systems from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a master of engineering in higher education management and a bachelor of engineering in industrial engineering management systems.<\/p>\n
Xu will build on her strengths and success to date and will take on this new, higher level leadership position with enthusiasm, commitment and collegiality.<\/p>\n
